Tornador Cleaning Gun Replacement Kit

This Tornador Cleaning Gun Replacement Kit enables you to replace the wear parts of your Tornador Car Cleaning Gun to keep it in fine working order. The kit includes one plastic cone, one weighted tube assembly and a plastic washer.

To determine if it's time to replace the cone and tube, start by evaluating the existing cone and tube assembly. When the tube has become grooved more than 1/16 of an inch, replace cone and washer. Next, rinse the weighted tube assembly and compare it to the new tube. You only need to replace the weighted tube assembly if the weights are smooth or the tube has become damaged.

To replace the cone, clean the threads on the Tornador gun and replace the washer. Do not use thread tape. Rotate cone onto the gun until snug but do not over-tighten.

To replace the weighted tube assembly, remove the old tube assembly using a 10 mm boxed end wrench. After removing the old tube clean the threads of loose debris before installing the new tube. Use caution when placing the weighted tube over liquid inner tube. Do not bend or crimp. Tighten tube assembly. Then install the washer and the cone.

Note: Do not attempt to remove or replace liquid inner tube. It is permanently installed by the factory.
