CCS stands for Collapsed Cell Structure. CCS Technology is Lake Country’s innovative pad design that saves product by controlling product release onto the work surface. Dozens of dimples in the foam collect excess polish and reserve it until it is needed on the pad’s face (the area that is in contact with the paint). This design prolongs your working time and reduces product waste.
In addition, the Dual Action CCS 5.5 Inch Foam Pad Kit includes a Lake Country Foamed Wool Pad for safe swirl and scratch removal.
The Dual Action CCS 5.5 Inch Foam Pad Kit should be used with a 5 inch backing plate. This kit is recommended for a dual action or orbital polisher.

Foamed Wool 6.5 x 1 inch Thick Polishing/Buffing Pad
Lake Country’s Foamed Wool is a patented process whereby microscopic polyfoam particles encapsulate the base of the wool pad. This enables the Foamed Wool 6.5 inch Buffing/Polishing Pads to stand up to the stress of polishing better with less caking and matting and linting. Foamed Wool Buffing/Polishing Pads are capable of removing 1500 grit scratches, leaving a smooth finish with no hazing and few, if any, compounding swirls.
2 CCS 5.5 Inch Orange Light Cutting Pads
The firm, high density orange foam is ideal for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
2 CCS 5.5 Inch White Polishing Pads
The white pads are a less dense foam formula for the application of polishes, cleaner waxes, and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
1 CCS Blue Finessing 5.5 inch Foam Pad
Pad has soft composition for applying glaze, finishing polish, sealants, and liquid waxes. Flat pad provides full contact with paint surface to minimize the pressure applied by the user.
These soft microfiber towels make product removal easy with tiny, looped fibers that grab wax and polish residue. Each towel is made of a soft 80/20 microfiber.
